This bread machine is an ideal appliance for anyone who might want to try a breadmaker out - to see if it works for them - without parting with too much hard earned money - or should that be dough or even bread :( . This is certainly the cheapest bread machine I have seen and sometimes this super cheap breadmaker is on sale at Argos for under £30. Well it might be cheap but is it any good? Normally I tend to think that you get what you pay for and avoid the lowest priced machine on the market but this might be a mistake as this breadmaker has all the features that I would typically use e.g. timer, add ingredients beep as well as a viewing window. Also I have spoken to a bunch of people who did go for one of these and report that it is a pretty good machine. One gripe I have heard is that it takes quite a long time to bake (about 4 hrs for the full process). If anyone knows any better then contact us. Bakes 1.5lb and 2lb loaves. 12 programmes. 3 crust settings. Fast bake and ultra fast bake. (Fast bake 1 hour 40 minutes, ultra fast bake 58 minutes.) 13 hour programmable delay timer. Viewing window. Add ingredients signal. Jams and cakes. Non slip feet.
